About these classes:  French journey for children between 8 to 11 with the Alliance française. Your child will learn to speak with the confidence of a native French speaker through games and fun task-based activities that will develop their listening and pronunciation skills.

- French Beginner A1  Thursday 6:30 to 8:30 pm   September 15 to Oct 27 (87,50$) and November 3 to Dec 15 (87,50$)

This class is for students who are relatively new to French or who have forgotten much of their high school French. Lessons will provide activities using all four bases for learning a second language – speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Classes are interactive and students will be speaking French and participating in games, dialogues, and group activities. Textbooks Méthode + Cahier Tendances A1 required (electronic version at CLE International or paper version $80 at Books & Shenanigans, 347 Cook St).

These Alliance française  Conversational French workshops are not simple meetups but structured French workshops in complement to our Beginner classes for students who already have some basic French. Students will learn how to introduce themselves or a subject, express themselves and give examples to illustrate what they are saying. They will develop their communication skills steadily. No textbook is needed.

About these classes: Intermediate 1 and 2/ Ages: 16 and up.  These Alliance française Conversational French workshops are not simple meetups but structured French workshops in complement to our Intermediate classes in person or online or for students who already have some French. Students will learn how to express themselves, give their opinion on different subjects, convince, compare and talk about what they like.  They will develop their communication skills steadily with a qualified and experienced instructor, in a relaxed atmosphere.  No textbook is needed.

These classes are based on the recommendations of the CEFR ( The Common European Framework for Languages) , a standard reference adopted by hundreds of educational systems worldwide.
