Fun in French for Preschoolers (ages 2-5) in Oaklands Community Centre
Introduce your child to the French language through stories, songs, and games. The Alliance Francaise de Victoria is pleased to offer introductory French courses for children, taught by an experienced French language instructor. Together, children and parents (or grandparents) will discover and practice French through hands-on activities, games, songs, dance, and stories. Parent/caregiver participation is required. 6/$50 (50% for siblings)

French Total Beginner level in Cook St Activity CentreWednesday 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm (198$ / 18 hours) September 15 to December 1New to French language? Start speaking French from day one and experience an immersive introduction to all things French with a trained and qualified instructor. In these classes, you will progress quickly from basic communication situations to more complex interactions. Textbook: Communication Progressive du Français A1.1 CLE International (Buy a copy in advance or during the first class for 40$ taxes included)
French Level A1 in Oaklands Community Centre 18 hours/$198 - Mon Sept 13 – Dec 6 6-7:30pm (no class Oct 11)
This class is for students who are new to French or who have forgotten much of their high school French. Lessons will provide activities using all four bases for learning a second language – speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Classes are interactive and students will be speaking French and participating in games, dialogues, and group activities. Textbooks Méthode + Cahier Tendances A1 required (electronic version at CLE International or paper version at the start of classes for $80).

French Level A2 in Oaklands Community Centre 18 hours/$198 - Mon Sept 13 – Dec 6 7:30-9pm (no class Oct 11)
This class is for students with some French experience or who have completed level 1. Students will
develop new vocabulary, improve their listening and speaking skills, and polish their grammar. Classes are interactive with varied activities. Textbooks Méthode + Cahier Tendances A2 required (electronic version at CLE International or paper version at the start of classes for $80).

Conversational French workshops for Beginners in Cedar Hill Rec CentreWednesdays 6:30 to 8 pm (18 hours / 198$  - September 15 to December 1Our Conversational French workshops are not simple meet-ups but structured French workshops in complement to our Beginner classes in person or online (or for students who already have some basic French). Students will learn how to express themselves, introduce a subject, convince, compare, and give examples to illustrate what they are saying. They will develop their communication skills steadily with a qualified and experienced instructor, in a relaxed atmosphere. (No textbook but 5$ fee for copies) 

French Intermediate Level in Vic West Community CentreThursdays 6 to 7:30 pm  18 hours 198$  - Sept 16 to Dec 9 This class is for students with some French experience or who have completed our Beginners 1 and 2 levels. Students will develop new vocabulary, improve their listening and speaking skills, and polish their grammar. Classes are interactive with varied activities. Textbooks: Méthode + Cahier Tendances A2 (electronic version at CLE International or paper version at the start of classes for $80).
