Alliance Française Victoria can organize private classes for a variety of purposes, whether you are struggling with grammar or pronunciation, or you need to prepare for the federal language competency tests such as the TCF or TEF.

Get the best teachers and training in town for your private French classes. If you wish to prepare an exam, or you wish to prepare your next vacation in France or Québec, we can create a course for you. Here are a few exams we could help you to prepare: the DELF and DALF, the TEF, the TCF among others. For exam preparation: before starting exam preparation, students must first attain the necessary language proficiency.
Get French classes entirely customized to your children's needs. If they wish to prepare an exam, if your child needs help keeping up with lessons at school (Core French or French Immersion), we can create a training for them. Here are a few exams we could help your child to prepare: the DELF, the SAT French (to enter an American or Canadian University), the Language Placement Test, the French Language and Culture exam (previously AP French Language exam), the French Challenge 11 or the French Provincial exam. For exam preparation: before starting exam preparation, students must first attain the necessary language proficiency.
We offer private lessons with one of our teachers, either online (12 and older) or in our premises (8 years old and older ). You can choose the time and day that work best for you (subject to teacher’s availabilities).
You can also choose to get a tutor to refresh your French before entering one of our group classes. If you missed a few hours of our
standard group classes, ask your teacher for catch-up classes.
In compliance with the legislation, all lessons must be of 1 hour minimum. No lesson can be held outside our regular business hours or
on public holidays.
We require one (1) full business day notice for a class cancellation. The cancellation notice MUST be sent to the teacher and the administration of the Alliance Francaise Victoria at: af@afvictoria.ca. A student who does not give one (1) business day notice will be charged the full amount of the class.

Books, if needed, are not included in the tuition fee. Cancellation of tutoring session: one (1) business day
written notice is required. If cancellation occur less than one (1) business day, the lesson will be considered taken.
