A1 Discovery

A1 Part 1 - Discovery with Edito

Two classes of 2 hours a week

Are you a complete beginner? This level is for you!
(for once-a-week classes, Part A is a prerequisite for Part B).

In this class, students will learn the basics in French:

  • Spell and count;
  • Introduce themself (greet, name, age, nationality)
  • Give and ask for personal information (name, address, dob, email, phone #);
  • Express their likes and dislikes;
  • Name, ask, and give their place of residence;
  • Talk about their family.


Prerequisite: no prior knowledge of French whatsoever (for once-a-week classes, Part 1A is a prerequisite for Part 1B).

Textbooks: EDITO A1, Unit 0, unit 1 + unit 2.
NEW STUDENTS: For online classes: books to be picked up in our premises (no delivery). For in-person classes: the teacher will give the books on the first day of class.

  • Talk about recent experiences or projects;
  • Tell past events (1);

  • Express their intent;
  • Talk about their life journey;
  • Propose, accept and refuse an invitation;
  • Express their likes and dislikes;
  • Organise a leisure activity;
  • Tell memories.

Prerequisite: A1 part 4 or Level assessment.

Conversation A2 - Intermediate

One class of 2 hours a week

In this course, students will practice speaking in everyday situations: asking and answering questions, expressing opinions, talking about daily life, and sharing simple ideas.

Our conversation lessons will help students gradually build confidence and improve their communication skills through regular speaking practice.

This course is for students who already have at least half of the A2 Intermediate level (Part 3) or Level Assessment.

B1 Independent

B1 Independent & B2 Advanced - TCF Workshop

Two classes of 2 hours a week

TCF workshops for B1 Independent and B2 Advanced level

  • Prerequisite: B1 or B2 level completed or almost completed
  • Work on typical TCF activities to master each component of the exam
  • Taught by accredited TCF examiners
  • Student in TCF workshop (Victoria) will be given priority registration in upcoming TCF exam.

Conversation B1 - Independent

One class of 2 hours a week

In this course, students will practice and improve their ability to give an opinion — to present, convince, compare ideas, justify opinions, introduce a topic, express themselves clearly, and give examples to support what they say.

Our conversation lessons help students build their communication skills step by step, with regular speaking practice.

This course is for students who already have at least half of the B1 Independent level (Part 3) or Level assessment.

B2 Part 3A - Advanced with Edito

  • Write a biography in an article;
  • Comment numerical data;
  • Express concession (2) and opposition;
  • Express expectations;

Prerequisite: B2 Part 2 or Placement test.

Conversation B2 - Advanced

One class of 2 hours a week

In this course, students will strengthen their ability to express complex ideas, take part in in-depth discussions, and speak fluently and spontaneously in a variety of situations.

They will practice presenting arguments, exploring abstract topics, expressing opinions clearly, and discussing the pros and cons of different viewpoints — all while refining their vocabulary and structure.

Our conversation lessons help students gain confidence and precision in their spoken French.

This class is for students who have reached at least half of the B2 Advanced level (Part 3) or Level Assessment.
