From Kindergarten to Grade 12, Alliance Française Victoria offers 60-minute immersive workshops that align with the BC Curriculum. All
levels of French are welcome – we adapt each workshop and materials to the age and level of your students.
Goal: Introduce students to French language and francophone culture in a fun, interactive, and engaging way! Through hands-on activities, students practice French actively, strengthen their Canadian identity, and develop intercultural awareness within francophone communities around the world.
Kindergarten to Grade 4
Mime & Words – $350
Students explore the difference between theatre and mime
while practicing stage expression, observation, and creative performance. This workshop develops communication, collaboration,
and creative thinking skills, linked to arts
learning goals.
Little Francophone Explorers – $350
Students discover the francophone world through music,
traditions, arts, and culture. They expand French vocabulary, strengthen language skills, and develop intercultural
understanding.
Grade 5 to Grade 12
Comic Book Workshop – $350
Students learn the history of comic books, explore specific
vocabulary, and create their own comic story about
adventures. This workshop develops storytelling and
narrative skills.
History & French Slang – $350
Students explore French history and slang. They
learn about famous figures, from Napoleon Bonaparte to Omar Sy, and
how language evolves. Fun games help students
understand and use French slang.
Grade 8 to Grade 12
Convince Me! - $350
Students become marketing experts and present an original product in French. They practice persuasive language,
explore different registers, and use oral storytelling
techniques.
