Dear friends

Let's kick off the new semester in French and in music! The French department is organizing a general Francofête on Friday September 17, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (in the inner courtyard of Clearihue (parking lot C or Parkade), with possible retreat in the rooms around). We would be happy to invite all who like to speak - or only to hear – French for a late afternoon of songs, conversations, networking and discoveries. There will be a jazz trio, snacks, cakes, entry prizes, but also a student filmed performance —on the Law bubble — and student podcasts, directed by Sara Harvey. There will also be a fair with French-speaking associations. The event is free and open to all. This event is held with the support and in the presence of the Consul General of France in Vancouver.

Thank you for circulating this invitation and our poster to your networks!

The registration page (for us to order cakes and treats) ishttps://en.surveymonkey.ca/r/3BFGZVK . The contact email is events.french@uvic.ca

We look forward to starting a semester together!
